Our History

If you want to learn more about us and our building, the  Historic Collins Bicycle Shop, which has been serving the community since the early days when bike hipsters were rocking mustaches. 

Our Story 

Z Cycle Shop began in 2018 in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood. In 2021, we moved into the Collins building at 3217 E. Colfax Ave.

This space opened as the Collins’ Bike Shop in 1934 and while it’s changed names a few times, it’s continuously been a bike shop since. We’re proud to continue that legacy and honored to serve the Bluebird and East Colfax neighborhoods.
